English РускийVal (Valeriy) Nikitin was born in Ukraine. He has been working in New York since 1993. For almost eight years he worked as a Project Architectural Designer for Sills Huniford Associates, a well known interior design firm with a list of high profile clients ranging from members of the Rockefeller family to Vera Wang and Tina Turner.
Mr. Nikitin’s experience includes a variety of work, from the conceptual architectural design to custom furniture and millwork detail development. Besides residential work, he was also involved in hospitality projects such as the renovation of five stars hotels “The St. Regis” in New York and Washington DC, and ‘The Connaught” in London.
As a Project Architect, Mr. Nikitin worked for important New York City Show-houses for Traditional Home Magazine, Esquire Magazine and Architectural Digest.
The list of Mr. Nikitin own projects includes Landmark townhouse in Manhattan, and numerous privet residence in New York, Zurich and London. He brings European sensibility and respect for architectural details to his interiors. With an architect’s sense of proportion and an understanding of color, shape, and materials he reinvents each living space into a signature interior. His attention for antique, vintage modern furniture and contemporary pieces make his interiors attractive and livable.
In 2007, Mr. Nikitin achieved Diploma on International Architectural & Interior Design Competition in Moscow for his project in Manhattan. He has a Master Architectural Degree. His work have been featured in various magazines and book on Architecture and Interior Design. Currently Val Nikitin is a principal of his Manhattan based firm.
