Val (Valeriy) Nikitin was born in the Ukraine. He has been working in New York since 1993. Mr. Nikitin has a Masters degree in architecture. In 2007, he was awarded a Diploma for the International Architectural & Interior Design Competition in Moscow for his project in Manhattan.

Mr. Nikitin’s experience is wide-ranging. From conceptual architectural design to custom furniture and millwork detail development. Besides residential work, he was also involved in hospitality projects; the renovation of five star hotels “The St. Regis” in New York and Washington DC, and ‘The Connaught” in London.

For almost eight years he worked as an Architectural Project Designer for Sills Huniford Associates; a well known interior design firm, with high profile clientele ranging from members of the Rockefeller family to Vera Wang and Tina Turner. As a architectural designer, Mr. Nikitin also worked for important New York City show-houses for The Traditional Home, Esquire and Architectural Digest magazines.

Mr. Nikitin own project-list includes a Landmark townhouse in Manhattan as well as numerous private residencies across New York, Zurich and London. He brings European sensibility and pays respect to the architectural details of his interiors. With an architect’s sense of proportion and an understanding of color, shape, and materials, Mr. Nikitin reinvents each living space into a signature interior. His attention to antique, vintage and modern furniture and contemporary pieces makes his interiors attractive and a pleasure to live in.

His work has been featured in various magazines and a book on Architecture and Interior Design. Currently Val Nikitin is a principal of his Manhattan based firm.
